Hey, Little Bud – Coming Soon

Hey, Little Bud. is a spiritually rooted, emotionally aware chapter book in which a child is guided by a wise nature spirit, Mother Oya, on an inner journey from “root” to “crown.” Through simple, vivid scenes in nature and encounters with animal guides, the child discovers “keys” within themselves related to safety, feelings, inner power, love, voice, insight, and belonging.

Rather than teaching doctrine, the book uses gentle stories and reflection questions to help children notice what they feel in their bodies, understand that emotions are allowed, and begin to trust their own inner knowing. Each chapter introduces one “key,” links it to an element and an animal, and concludes with a short, accessible reflection that children can complete alone or with a caring adult.
